چکیده
Germplasm evaluation, classification, characterization, and preservation are the initial requirements for any crop genetic improvement programs meant to promote economically important traits. Mean performance range of different expressible traits through ANOVA showed highly significant differences within various genotypes helped evaluate several promising carrot genotypes. The multivariate analysis method was used in this study, which helpful resolving phenotypic genotypic parameters/measurements big collections into easy interpretable dimensions. The research work carried out with eighty-one diversity a germplasm collection analysis. The divergence grouped all ten clusters cluster VI found be biggest, comprised 30 genotypes, followed by IV, 16 Cluster X exhibited high mean value root weight anthocyanin content; III days 1st harvest girth, V dry matter content, total sugar carotene respectively. maximum distance between recorded among II (43,678.5) follow I (43,199.7), it indicated that from these far away could efficiently breeding obtain superior hybrids. Total content (36.14%) contributed most divergence, (35.74%). Out four principal components, PC1 largely towards variation, PC2. partial variances (%) first fourth PC-axes were 36.77, 25.50, 12.67, 10.17, Genotypes like PC-161, PC-173, PAU-J-15, PC-103, PC-43 considered respect marketable yield its associated such as length weight, hence can released directly variety.

Genetic diversity of “Pimenta Longa” genotypes (Piper spp., Piperaceae) of the Embrapa Acre germplasm collection
The commonly known Pimenta longa is a commercially valuable natural resource found wild in Acre, Brazil. Specifically, three Piperaceae species with contested taxonomic status were studied, Piper hispidinervum, Piper aduncum, and Piper hispidum, to assesses the interand intra-specific genetic relationship of 49 Piper genotypes kept in the Pimenta longa germplasm collection at Embrapa Acre, usin...
متن کاملAssessing and broadening genetic diversity of a rapeseed germplasm collection
Assessing the level of genetic diversity within a germplasm collection contributes to evaluating the potential for its utilization as a gene pool to improve the performance of cultivars. In this study, 45 high-quality simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers were screened and used to estimate the genetic base of a world-wide collection of 248 rapeseed (Brassica napus) inbred lines. For the whole co...

The common bean, Phaseolus vulgaris (L.) Savi, is a member of the genus Phaseolus, belonging to subtribe Phaseolinae. It in turn is a member of the tribe Phaseoleae of the subfamily Papilionoideae and the family Leguminosae (Fabaceae) (van Eseltine, 1931; in Lackey, 1977; Maréchal et al., 1978). The neotropical genus Phaseolus includes about 50 to 60 species of wild bean (Toro et al., 1990), mo...

Festuca arundinacea Schreb., commonly known as tall fescue, is a major forage crop in temperate regions. Recently, a molecular analysis of different accessions of a world germplasm collection of tall fescue has demonstrated that it contains different species from the genus Festuca and allowed their rapid classification into the three major morphotypes (Continental, Mediterranean and Rhizomatous...
